We are proud to offer AES Turning Point Summer Camp, a transformational experience for your child. We offer a structured program that follows a daily schedule filled with enriching courses and activities in English. We hope your child is ready to be active, learn, build community, laugh, and most importantly, grow!
Turning Points Extensions programs will be developed through the following thematic areas:
Mind
Academic subjects- literature, mathematics, technology, sciences, Specialized learning and extension learning opportunities, ALI.
Body
Physical education activities, Sports, Swimming, Yoga, Martial arts and more...
Soul
Visual arts, Performing arts, Culinary arts, Music, Turning points Extensions and more
About the Program
We provide campers with traditional, age-appropriate camp activities that will develop their mind, bodies, and souls. Our program provides an assortment of activities that are sure to challenge your child and expose them to different experiences and skills. Our counselors facilitate daily adventures where campers are taught social, intellectual, physical and creative skills to transform their mind, body, and souls.
AES Turning Point Summer Camp offers a structured program that follows a daily schedule filled with enriching activities in English.
Full day campers will rotate through a variety of activities to develop their mind, body, and soul. Each day they will have 4 new activities, for a total of 20 activities in the week. Half day campers will rotate through a variety of activities to develop their mind, body, and soul. Each day they will have 2 new activities, for a total of 10 activities in the week.
Additionally, each camper will be placed on a team and throughout the week there will be community building and competitions to gain points for their team. During snack and lunch break campers will connect and collaborate with their teammates on different challenges.
About our Preschool Camp
AES Turning Point Summer Camp offers half day sessions for preschoolers, aged 3 and 4 years old. The program focuses on providing hands-on, child-centered learning experiences for young children. The camp will likely include a variety of activities such as art, music, movement, and outdoor play that are designed to foster creativity, imagination, and self-expression.
The camp will be guided by the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach, which emphasizes collaboration, communication, and respect for children's abilities and interests. The camp may also include opportunities for children to work on projects and investigations as they explore the world around them. Overall, the camp aims to provide a fun and engaging summer experience that also supports children's intellectual and social-emotional development.
