Community Chronicles

As the director of a PreK program, I felt like there was a constant stream of challenges to navigate. The first year was particularly tough, not only because it was the first year of the program, but also because I had become a mother just a few months earlier. 

Hello. I am a brand new member at  AES—a parent, an early childhood educator, and a person with a serious culture shock (even though, years ago, I spent over 3 months in India and old Delhi was my lovely home base). Lastly, I am a city girl.

It should be no surprise for any to say that music has started taking up a significant amount of space in our lives in the last couple of decades. 

Originally from New Delhi and New York City, Mrinalini Sisodia Wadhwa is an undergraduate at Columbia University majoring in History and Mathematics. Mrinalini graduated from AES in 2020 and was that year’s valedictorian.

The Thespian is a strange creature most commonly found in its natural habitat of high school, though it has also been known to live in other areas of social life.
