The mission of the AIS/AES Alumni Association is to promote and facilitate the lifelong communication and camaraderie of alumni, parents of alumni, faculty and staff.
Whether you attended AIS or AES; whether you were a phantom, a falcon or a tiger, whether you were a day student or a boarding student… we’re so glad you’re back for a visit!
With a transient community, AES considers all of our former students as alumni, whether you received your diploma or not. No matter how long your stay, we hope your days at AES were happy ones.
AES reaches out to our alumni directly, and also supports the wonderful efforts of the AIS/AES Alumni Network. This enthusiastic group of former AIS/AES students shares information and news through its website and Facebook page, and also holds a reunion in Washington, DC every 5 years. Check in with them today to see which of your friends are already there!
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!
My time at AES was probably the best part of my life. The community there felt like an actual family. The vast majority of teachers that I had the pleasure meeting had a genuine interest in helping student excel in their studies as well as grow personality wise.

My family was private sector. I enjoyed meeting students who were connected with the government. My teachers left a lifelong impression even to this day. I have become more aware after becoming a Third Culture Kid and have made life long friends.
